Ready, Set, Compete!

“Ready, Set, Compete!” is an initiative created to identify African American vendors ready to compete for business during Los Angeles’ global sporting and entertainment events. Beginning in 2026, LA will be hosting the NBA All Star Game, FIFA World Cup, the Women’s US Open, leading up to the 2028 Olympic & Paralympic Games, bringing millions in spending, global media coverage, and an unprecedented demand for local goods and services.

• Identify African American owned businesses that are ready to compete for contracts in the upcoming LA area global sporting events: NBA, World Cup, NFL, Golf & Olympics
• Assist African American owned businesses by offering resources to support bidding on large-scale, high profile events.
• Advocate with decision makers for utilization of African American owned businesses that result in a positive economic impact creating generational wealth and job creation
